Air filled with spray and foam

The television this morning gave yesterdays wind speed at Cabo Estartit as 190 kilometres per hour. I thought the boat was twisting to the gusts in an unprecedented sort of way. 190kph winds in the marina are wild and alarming, out at sea it would be a different story and the only advice I would give to sailors contemplating being at sea with 119 mph winds is to try to keep your head from being blown off your shoulders. Go and ask any motorcyclist who has ridden at speeds over a ton.
